Business Licenses must be obtained before transacting any business. Licenses are based on a calendar year: January 1st – December 31st. All Business Licenses expire December 31st of each year, regardless of the date purchased.
Who needs a business license? Any person or organization conducting business in Summerdale or Summerdale’s police jurisdiction. The license must be obtained before transacting any business.
Annual Renewal Business License shall be renewed annually on or before the 31st day of January each year.
Penalties and Interest All licenses not paid within thirty (30) days from the date they fall due shall be increased by fifteen (15%) percent for the first thirty (30) day they shall delinquent or fraction thereof, and shall be measured by an additional fifteen (15%) percent for a delinquency of sixty (60) or more days.
